Sundays

We meet as a church family each Sunday morning at 11 am across all the ages and stages of life and faith, from those a few months old to those in their 90s and everything in between! We gather in our church building on Herbertshire Street, Denny, FK6 6HD. Our services are relaxed and informal and usually finish around 12:15 pm, followed by tea, coffee, cake, and other refreshments and the chance to connect with one another.

Whether you are visiting us for the first time, or whether you have been gathering with us for a long time, you are so welcome to join us at our celebration services. We come together expectantly to worship the Lord with songs, with prayers for the community and the world, and to open up the Bible together to hear from God’s word and to grow together as we put the word into action.

As a church, we want to create opportunities to hear from the whole body in our worship, so we encourage space for testimonies, prayers, and other contributions as the Lord leads. We also want to connect and keep up to date with ministries that we support in our community and beyond, so our Sundays can look a little different each week, but we’ll always gather to sing, pray, open the word, and then get to know each other after the service. On the last Sunday of the month, we come together to observe the Lord’s supper in our time together.

Our Sunday gatherings are live-streamed via the church’s youtube channel, and you can catch up with our previous Sundays and services on our YouTube channel.

Kids and young people

We love kids and families being part of our church life and our celebration services. Our dbc kids are usually with us altogether for the first part of the service, (about 20-25 mins), and then go through to our kids church, and the person leading the service will let you know when it’s time for kids church. All our kids church sessions are planned and led by our trained, enthusiastic team whom all have PVG checks for working with children. The activities we provide are fun and varied. They include age-appropriate stories, imaginative play, crafts, games, and songs. Our curriculum is designed to help each child get to know God and develop a life of worship and prayer. If you are bringing kids for the first time we will connect you with someone from our kids team before the service begins.

Access / Parking

We have disabled access and facilities throughout our building, and there is disabled parking available within the driveway on the church grounds. There is some street parking available outside the church building but most people tend to park in the shopping centre car park which is free of charge and straight ahead of you as you come down ‘The Vennel’ and before the road bends right and becomes Herbertshire Street.
